Michelle Davis - Leadership and Executive Coach

Michelle helps new and emerging leaders enhance their leadership skills so they can confidently and authentically take the next step in their careers. Her empathetic but practical approach to
coaching helps her clients stay accountable to their goals, while helping to remove the blocks that can get in the way of fulfillment and success in the workplace.

Michelle enjoys incorporating humor and the latest research and resources in leadership, neuroscience and personal development in her coaching sessions. Her favorite leadership “gurus” include Brené Brown, Simon Sinek, Jen Sincero and Susan Cain to name a few.

Michelle brings over 13 years of experience in non-profit fundraising and leadership to her coaching practice. She has held various development positions at the University of Michigan including in annual giving, stewardship, alumni relations and major gifts. Michelle currently serves as Director of Development at Michigan Medicine where she leads a team responsible for raising funds for ground-breaking research and patient care in the neurosciences.

Education, Certification & Affiliations

Michelle holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!). She is a certified professional coach (CLC) through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) and is an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. She has additional training in team coaching through Team Coaching International.
